                 My first language was Bengali, which i learned from my mother. I was born in Bangladesh and I grew up there. In my country, school and high school classes English had to be apart of  a subject and rest of the subject were Bengali. So, i needed to take a subject in English. However, i didn't speak English outside. I just read English only my English class. I knew little bit English but i didn't prefer to use English. Because my friends, my family, and my neighbors  they all used to Bengali for speaking, reading and writing. For this reason, i was prefer in Bengali.
                 Once a time, my family decided to move in the USA from Bangladesh. When i came here, i was little worried. Because, i was prefer Bengali language not English language. Here, when i talked to anyone, i could not organized my sentence. After that, i decided to learn about more English. Without learning English i could not speak with anyone, i could not came in the college.  
                   I'm still learning English. This language will help me to finish my graduation and make a better future in my life. I can speak two languages Bengali and English. However, now i prefer English language to talk to the people, to read things, to write in for my classes homeworks, and emails or letters. Because it is easy for me to use and feels comfortable when i use English language. I think that writing ability in English is much better than my first language. I do not want to study without English language in classes.
